WTO: Case of levying AD tariff on Turkish HRC from Morocco govt violates rule

According to the report, the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) to deal with disputes between World Trade Organization (WTO) members, they have mentioned adopting the opinion from experts and appellate body in a case of Turkey, particularly Morocco’s anti-dumping measures against certain hot-rolled coils (HRC) imports from Turkey.

The WTO members observed that the Moroccan government has violated several rules of the anti-dumping agreement from the WTO. the Moroccan government has notified the WTO and decided to appeal against investigations from experts, subsequently withdrawn the appeal.

The appellate body has completed the relevant work based on the Moroccan government withdrawn the appeal. The DSB formally passed the decision within 30 days since the appellate body released the report.
